NASA Plans to Create a Deep Space Habitat

A number of companies and agencies in the space technology race to conquer the Mars. US space agency NASA even need an injection of funds amounting to USD 55 million. Fresh funds originating from the United States Congress is planned to be used by NASA to develop a habitat on the red planet. Reported by BBC of Space News, the injection of funds was at the same time providing increased NASA’s budget in the project Mars.
This habitat will be used as the residence of the astronauts while on Mars. NASA was given time until 2018 to make a prototype habitat. In the cultivation of this habitat project, NASA does not work alone. Private companies such as Bigelow Aerospace and Boeing in fact helped NASA to build a habitat on Mars. Later, the development of space technology into a project that is in demand by the billionaires in the world. Call it the CEO of Tesla Motors, Elon Musk and Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos is involved in a project that takes a bit of money there. Both are even competing to buy the launch complex 39A NASA spacecraft. The complex is located at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, the United States is a premiere and final NASA space projects.
Living on Mars is not just a dream. One day human colonies will be sent to the Red Planet. Hawaii Space Exploration Analog and Simulation or Hi-Seas were working on a project sponsored by the United States Space Agency (NASA). To provide decent homes for the people of Earth who would live there. Although still a concept, dome-shaped house will be equipped with solar panels as an energy collector. High ceilings will make the occupants feel comfortable in it. And do not miss the three-dimensional printer to make any kind of equipment.
“Some people might consider it corny, but that kinds of scenario might happen soon in the future, when the first mission to Mars departed, and NASA is preparing for the departure by conducting new studies in Hawaii,” the statement Hi-Seas as quoted by the Daily Mail. Two of three planned mission has been completed. And the third, which will last for eight months, has just begun. The third mission involving six crews live in a giant dome in the remote area of Hawaii, Mauna Loa.
If the mission is successful, then you can see the original visual projections as you watched in The Martian. In the film, Matt Damon told as an astronaut who left behind on Mars where he and the crew conducted research.
